Albert Jonkman
July 6, 1937 to June 4, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving husband and a great father.
Albert retired in 1995 to travel with his wife to Arizona for the winter months. He loved to fish and hunt with his brother Berend. Albert and Betty moved to Tsawassen, BC in 2013 and in September 2014 he moved into Kin Village care home where his health declined from Dementia and Parkinson’s. Albert passed away peacefully with his wife of 57 years, Betty, and his four children - Jane, Diane, Bill and Susan - by his side.
Albert leaves behind nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and several brothers and their spouses.
Albert was cremated according to his final wishes.
Donations made to the Parkinson Society would be greatly appreciated.
