INVITATION TO REVIEW AND PROVIDE COMMENT ON TWO (2) FOREST STEWARDSHIP PLANs FOR: AMA GAN LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (LP)
For areas within Tree Farm License (TFL) 41, Forest Licence (FL) A16885, and FL A16882
Public review and comment requested by August 20, 2025
Notice is hereby given according to the Forest and Range Practices Act’s Forest Planning and Practices Regulation (FPPR), Division 3, Section 20 and 21 that two Forest Stewardship Plans (FSP) for operations administered by Ama Gan LP within the Coast Mountains Natural Resource District (NRD) are available for public review and comment.
The draft Kalum and Nass North FSP, and the draft Nass South FSP have been prepared for forestry operations administered and managed by Ama Gan LP. Areas include tenures within the Coast Mountains NRD. The Kalum and Nass North FSP describe Forest Development Unit (FDU) locations and the proposed results, strategies, and forest practices to be carried out under the plan in TFL 41, FL A16885 - within the Kalum Timber Supply Area (TSA), and FL A16882 - within the Nass TSA North Area. The Nass South FSP describes FDU locations and the proposed results, strategies, and forest practices to be carried out under the plan in FL A16882 - within the Nass TSA South Area. Once approved, the terms of the two FSPs will be five years.
In accordance with the FPPR, the FSP’s are available for public viewing from June 19, 2025 to August 20, 2025. This may be done by appointment at the offices of Westland Resources Ltd. in Terrace, BC during normal business hours (8:30 – 4:30 Monday-Friday).
