Winter storm expected for Terrace, Kitimat

Environment Canada says 15 to 25 cm of snow will fall overnight

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the Terrace and Kitimat area.

Snowfall is expected to begin this evening (Dec. 31) and carry on until tomorrow morning. Between 15 and 25 cm of snow is anticipated.

Near Kitimat, the snow could turn to rain tomorrow morning.

Similar warnings are in effect for other parts of northwest B.C., including the Stewart area.
