Tree angel campaign raises over $2,000 for Salvation Army

Since the campaign was launched in 2005 it has raised over $80,000

The Terrace Salvation Army received a cheque for $2,513 through the Cooks Jewellers tree angel fundraiser last week.

Lt. Rick Apperson received the cheque from Cooks Jewellers Kitimat store manager Donna Connors.

The tree angels are sold over the festive season at the stores in Kitimat, Terrace and Prince Rupert.

Since the campaign was launched in 2005 it has raised over $80,000.
