The Snow Valley Skating Club will receive a $360 grant from the city towards travel expenses to attend the CNCR regional championships in Cranbrook.
The championships take place March 4-6 and top three finishers can advance to the Pacific Starskate Provincial Championships.
The money comes from a fund set up to assist local organizations for qualifying events.
