Northwest B.C. experienced a dump of snow over the weekend followed by freezing rain, causing icy conditions.

A DriveBC travel advisory is in effect for Hwy 37S between Terrace and Kitimat. Those that do have to travel are asked to exercise caution or make alternative plans where possible.

According to the District of Kitimat’s Facebook page crews are plowing and sanding in an attempt to make travel around town safer.
