Five people were taken to Kitimat General Hospital with minor injuries after a collision at the intersection of Haisla Blvd. and Kuldo Blvd. Tuesday (Jan. 26) afternoon.
Kitimat RCMP said an officer on patrol came across the three-vehicle collision just before noon. A vehicle driving along Haisla Blvd., with three people inside, went through a red light and was struck by another vehicle driving down Kuldo Blvd.
RCMP said the vehicle driving along Haisla Blvd. then collided with a vehicle stopped and waiting to turn onto Kuldo Blvd. from Haisla Blvd.
Traffic delays in the intersection lasted about an hour, and all five people involved were taken to hospital.
