A snowfall warning is currently in effect for Kitimat as residents woke up to a spring snowstorm.
Between 15 to 20 cm is expected today with a total of 15 cm over highway areas. The warning is expected to be in effect until late morning or noon.
A cold front has stalled over the area and is producing some heavy snow.
Rapidly accumulating snow and visible may make travel difficult over some spots.
