The Kitimat Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an All-Candidates Forum on October 7 to give community members a chance to ask the local Skeena candidates questions before the snap provincial election on Oct. 24.

The Forum will be held Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mount Elizabeth Theatre in Kitimat (1491 Kingfisher Ave). Doors open at 6:45 p.m.

The Forum is free and open to public, but those wishing to attend must register in advance, as there is limited seating in the theatre due to the physical distancing regulations. Community members can also join via Zoom, but must register in advance for that, as well. Zoom participants will be able to listen and can comment in the Q&A section of the Forum, if there is enough time.

The Forum will also be streamed live on the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.

All questions must be submitted to edirector@kitimatchamber.ca no later than 1 p.m. on Oct. 7. Questions can also be dropped off in person at the Chamber office, at 2109 Forest Ave, before 1 p.m. on Oct. 7, as well.

Questions may be taken via Zoom Q&A, as well as Facebook, if time permits. Contact Laurel at 250-632-6294 for more information and to register.
