UPDATE: According to BC Hydro, power was restored today at 3:30 p.m.

BC Hydro is reporting an outage in Kitimat affecting nearly 4,000 people.

The area affected is east of Dyke Rd., west of Road A and North of Logan Berry. What caused the outage is currently under investigation.

The power has been off since 8:58 a.m. and a crew is assigned to the area.
