On June 25, the District of Kitimat hosted a free rock concert for the public that featured The Rats, Lithium, Fictional Kings and Sight & Sound Terrace. At the event, the firefighters union organized and operated the beer gardens for the event.

A grand total of $12,238.40 was raised as a result of the beer garden.

The money will be spread throughout multiple local charitable groups including, Tamitik Status of Women, Kidsport Kitimat, the food bank and Kitimat Humane Society as well as many more.
