The annual Kitimat Rail Jam has been cancelled, the District of Kitimat announced this afternoon.
The annual snowboarding competition, held in the lower City Centre Mall parking lot, cannot be held due to a lack of snow.
Kitimat Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Trish Parsons said they couldn't even bring snow in from other parking lots, as they had last year.
The event was scheduled for January 24.
