Kitimat Concert Association presents Christmas with Buzz Brass

The critically acclaimed quintet will present classic and modern Christmas songs

The Kitimat Concert Association (KCA) is bringing Christmas with Buzz Brass to town.

The brass quintet offers all of the festive season’s magic according to the KCA.

Since 2002 the Buzz Brass quintet has been touring and entertaining classical music lovers around the globe. With over 1,600 appearances, the ensemble has played for more than 350,000 fans.

Its appearances at Edinburgh’s 2015 Fringe Festival, Beijing’s 2016 Meet in Beijing Arts Festival, and New York’s 2018 Chamber Music America all have given them much-deserved critical acclaim.

The quintet consists of Sylvain LaPointe, Frédéric Gagnon, Pascal Lafreniére, Jason de Carufel and Sylvain Arsenal.

The show will include classics such as Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and the traditional Silent Night, as well as more modern songs such Sleigh Ride and The Twelve Days of Christmas. A concert for the entire family to enjoy

The show is on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. at the Mount Elizabeth Theatre. Tickets are available at Bradley’s Bait and Tackle or at the door. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for youth.
