Kitimat will apply to the Northern Development Initiative Trust for funding for a grant writer for budget year 2011.
Kitimat had a grant writer from September to December 2010, but there were no grant applications made.
However, Margaret Warcup of the Child Development Centre advises there will be a number of organizations applications this year and they will require assistance.
