Two stories not to miss this week, one about firefighters who had to hack a path through thick bush to get to a fire, and another about an offer by a logging company to cut a firebreak around Kitimat, following on from last week’s story that contained a warning from fire chief Trent Bossence about the danger of wildfires in the district.

We also have photos from the Kitimat Fish Derby and the Labour Day picnic.
