Enbridge says it is pleased the Joint Review Panel (JRP) has issued a hearing order on the Northern gateway project that will see hearings begin next January 10 (Sentinel, May 11).
“The JRP process is specifically designed to thoroughly test all our assurances, our safety procedures and our planning – in detail and in public,” said Northern Gateway president John Carruthers.
Carruthers said the company believed the more people knew about what it was proposing, its commitment to safeguard the environment and the economic benefits for the entire country, the more supportive they will be.
