The District of Kitimat is looking for feedback on a concept plan for the Nechako Centre.

Currently, the District is preparing their concept plan in what they describe as an “underutilized commercial centre.”

Now, this new plan is looking for uses for the site, as well as providing direction on its land use and activity. This does include potential residential units, recreational areas and public spaces.

Residents have been asked to share their ideas through an online survey that can be found on the District of Kitimat’s website. The survey will aid in understanding the communities values and needs.

The survey is available to take before Oct. 31, 2021.
