A new art exhibition is open as of Jan. 14 at the Kitimat Museum and Archives.

Residents of Kitimat can view “The Art of Wendy Hagen-Dennill” which will run until Feb. 26. Her last exhibition took place in 2017. The show will take place in the upstairs gallery of the Kitimat Museum and Archives and will display various works by Hagen-Dennill.

“I am a self-taught artist and work in watercolours and acrylics, my art room is my sanctuary and what flows through me to the canvas is based purely on emotion,” said Hagen-Dennill.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will not be a reception for this event and all COVID-related policies will be followed including mandatory masks upon entering the building.

The upstairs gallery is also wheelchair accessible for those looking to view the exhibit.
