6.2 quake does not spark tsunami warning

No tsunami warning following an earthquake off Haida Gwaii.

Earthquakes Canada and the United States Geological Survey reported a 6.2 magnitude earthquake off Haida Gwaii at 1:19 p.m. today, 191 km southwest of Bella Bella.

However no tsunami warning has been issued following the event.

Earthquakes Canada is also reported a 4.5 magnitude earthquake near Port Hardy, at 2:05 p.m.
