Five skaters from the Snow Valley Skating Club were on the ice this week to take their Skate Canada tests.
Savannah Boudreau passed her Star 1 and Star 2a Dutch Waltz test, while Ashley Wright, Micaela Pearson and Elizabeth Bergeron passed their Star 2B Canasta tests. Serena Muelleur also passed her Star 1 Skills test.
Coaches Cynthia Medeiros and Mikaela Carreiro were proud of the girls and say that they all worked very hard towards this goal.
The skaters in the Snow Valley Skating Club are headed to Smithers this weekend for the Kla How Ya competition and then they will be hard at work getting ready for the Christmas Skating Gala on December 13.
