Snow Valley Skaters make a clean sweep in Smithers.

The coaches were very happy with the girls’ placings and many skaters achieved personal bests.

The Snow Valley Skaters were busy this last weekend attending the Kla How Ya competition in Smithers.

Coaches Cynthia Medeiros and Mikaela Carreiro travelled to the competition, with assistance from Prince Rupert’s Tamara Ward.

The coaches were very happy with the girls’ placings and many skaters achieved personal bests. The skaters from the club were also working on their routines for the Christmas Skating Gala that took place on Wednesday, December 13, in the Tamitik Arena.

The skaters are also looking forward to competing at the CNC Regional Championships in Prince George in January.
