This semester the MEMSS’s FEM PE 11 and 12 students completed a learn to run 10K program or a learn to run 10K faster program over 12 weeks.
The class trained together three days a week from January 31 until the third week of April.
At the completion of the training 23 of the 30 students in the class travelled to Vancouver to take part in the Vancouver Sun Run.
This year the team placed 56 out of 97 schools entered in the School Team Category, with a time of 9:56:37 (59:40).
