Finally a ladies night where the sun shone, a light breeze keeping the mosquitoes at bay.
Ladies golf members invited friends to play a six-hole scramble, devour a delicious buffet prepared by the Hirsch Creek kitchen and then take part in the annual auction of art work, baking, plants - a huge variety of items donated by the members.
The lounge was abuzz, filled with 85 ladies while auctioneer Sandra Dugdale worked her magic getting the ladies to bid higher.
A total of $2,700 was raised in this annual event.
