Ahead of the 65th annual All Native Basketball Tournament (ANBT), there are multiple fake accounts on Facebook that have been trying to correspond with teams.

One fake ANBT Facebook page has scammed a team into sending their fees to them.

So far, those in charge of the real ANBT are unaware of who is running the fraudulent pages and have been trying to flag them as fraud.

One way to ensure the page is legitimate is that the real ANBT has 12,000 followers and 10,000 likes on its page.

ANBT urges teams to use the email address they were given in the invitation package, which is allnativetournament@gmail.com.

They also urge people to report any pages that are not theirs to help get them removed.
