Unifor Local 2301 election results: Martin Mcllwrath remains President

A total of six changes came out of the election

Martin McIlwath will remain president of Unifor Local 2301 following an election on May 4.

A total of six changes came out of the election.

Ed Abreu will replace Andrew McLaren as vice president with Jamie Paul and Clarence Riggs assuming trustee positions formerly held by Dan Allen and Shaun Boomars. Lucas Oke will remain as one of the three trustees.

Harry Sandhu replaces Danny Casquilho as recording secretary.

Curtis Bye replaces Justin Little for one of the two sergeant-at-arms positions while Cliff Madsen will serve as one of the four constitutional convention delegates also replacing Little.

Adam Shaw will continue to work as financial secretary and Marc Young will continue as the full-time union safety rep.

Mike Duarte will remain as one of the two sergeant-at-arms.

The new chief area organization representatives are Richard Lindstrom, Mike Szmata, Jamie Paul and Terry Whelan.

Danny Casquilho replaces Innes McKenzie’s position as guide.

Unifor Local 2301 wants to thank everyone who put their name forward and the membership for voting.
