Employees of the Circle K gas station off Lahakas Boulevard confirm that a robbery took place there today at 3 a.m.
Employees told the Northern Sentinel that local RCMP believe the perpetrator is affiliated with the robberies that took place at Tony’s Corner Store in Nechako Centre on May 12, at 5:45 a.m. and Wee Geordies Liquor store in Nechako Centre on May 12, at 3:30 p.m.
At this time, no information about the new robbery has been released but the Northern Sentinel has reached out to the local RCMP.
Witnesses or persons who were in the area at the time of the incidents are requested to contact the Kitimat RCMP at (250) 632-7111 or Crime Stoppers at 1(800) 222-8477.
