A utility trailer reported stolen from a Kitimat business has been recovered, police say.
Kitimat RCMP confirmed the enclosed trailer, which was taken on Feb. 7 from a property on the 700 block of Enterprise Way, was found shortly after the theft was publicized.
“The Kitimat RCMP would like to thank the public and media for sharing the information on this trailer,” police said in a statement. “The trailer was located very quickly once the information was out.”
The investigation into the theft remains ongoing, and police are still seeking information on who was responsible. Anyone with relevant details is asked to contact Kitimat RCMP at 250-632-7111. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Northern BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
