The District of Kitimat is currently undergoing sewer line flushing and camera work in the Whitesail and Nechako Neighbourhoods today, June 4.
The work is expected to be completed by June 11.
The District asks residents to keep their toilets flushed and their lids closed during this time as there is potential that the high-pressure flushing could impact the standing water in households.
The district also advised residents to flush running water in all drains if they smell a sewer odour.
