Kitimat RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a heavy-duty dump trailer that was stolen from the 300 block of Railway Ave overnight on March 5.
Police say surveillance footage captured a white pickup truck towing the trailer away at 12:07 a.m. The make and model of the truck remain unclear, and officers are hoping someone may have seen it or has information that could help locate the missing trailer.
The stolen equipment is a black 2022 8x12 Canadian Trailers hydraulic dump trailer with two axles and wood railing tops. It bears British Columbia licence plate 21879K.
Police say this kind of theft can have a serious impact, especially for those who rely on their equipment for work, and are encouraging anyone who may have seen something unusual or recognizes the trailer to reach out.
