Due to high river levels and the potential of flooding, Radley Park and Hirsch Creek Park are temporarily closed. When flooding subsides, the District will reopen the parks.

Campers are being directed to stay at the Riverlodge parking lot for the time being or can be refunded.

Residents and visitors are urged to take caution when near the Kitimat River and Hirsch Creek, as the banks are subject to erosion. This creates unstable ground near the river, especially during times of high water levels and flooding.
