A series of Bollywood dance workshops were recently held at Kildala elementary school.
The workshops were presented in both French and English. Organized by the Parents Advisory Council (PAC), the workshops were aimed to introduce students to several different dance and movement styles including elements of break dancing, tango, ballet, and karate with an emphasis on Bollywood-style dance.
The Bollywood Bonanza was led by dancer, musician, choreographer, and karate black belt Roger Sinha.
Along with the school workshops that were presented to all of the classes at Kildala, there were also two evening workshops that were open to the public.
