A new board of directors has been appointed to lead the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce through the 2025/2026 term, with a focus on growth, collaboration and community service. The members were elected at the chamber's AGM April XX.
“Our members can expect new ideas, advanced strategies, and a diverse range of expertise that will continue to shape the direction of the organization and create further opportunities for growth and success,” said Laurel D'Andrea, executive director of the Chamber.
The incoming board includes six returning members and three new directors. Together, they bring experience from industries ranging from finance and real estate to retail and hospitality, aiming to reflect the broad range of sectors across Kitimat.
President Warren Featherstone of MK Bay Marina returns to lead the board, supported by Vice President Paul LeBlanc of Transdev and Secretary Jackie Sweet of Jacqueline Sweet Notary Public.
Other directors for the 2025/2026 term are Giuseppe Bravo (Century 21 Northwest Realty), Sahib Chhatwal (Office Bar & Bistro), Jacylyn Gordychuk (JacK’s Aligned Consulting), Alannah Larson Farrell (Rio Tinto BC Works), Colton Lieuwen (RBC Royal Bank) and Kyle MacGillivray (Kyles NOFRILLS).
The chamber said the core of its work is a mission to support to strengthen and connect the local community. The newly appointed board is expected to carry that vision forward through collaboration and innovation.
