The Kitimat Firefighters Association made a donation recently that came as music to the ears of students at Nechako Elementary. The association made a donation of $2,000 to Kitimat Arts for the Youth (KAFY).
The cheque was presented to KAFY president Louise Avery by representatives of the Firefighters Association in the Nechako Elementary band class.
They were joined by Nechako principal David Mills and band teacher Courtney Preyser.
