Students at Nechako Elementary School stepped up for their annual food bank drive, collecting more than 800 food items and toys for the Kitimat food bank. Leading the way was Mr. Gray’s grade six class, who earned a pizza party for their generous contributions.
This year, each class at Nechako Elementary was challenged to bring in unwrapped gifts and “high-need” items to support the community. The class with the most donations was promised a pizza party to reward their efforts.
