Friday will be the 50th time the Kitimat Masons have invited residents to enjoy the fruits of their culinary skills with a New York steak or chicken breast dinner.

Friday will be the 50th time the Kitimat Masons have invited residents to enjoy the fruits of their culinary skills with a New York steak or chicken breast dinner.

It takes place at the Legion both upstairs and down beginning at 5:30 p.m. and costs $15 per person for the full meal, $8 for just the salad bar.

Ron Burnett notes that money raised through these dinners has over the years been donated to a variety of worthwhile causes that benefit the whole community.

And he stresses that while the dinner is held at the Legion, it is open to everyone
