Kitimat Public Library to close for recarpeting

The library will be closed starting Thursday (Sept. 17), and will reopen on Monday, Sept. 21

The Kitimat Public Library will be closed from Thursday, Sept. 17 to Saturday, Sept. 19, the Kitimat Public Library Association said.

The closure is for carpet replacement in the library. As the library is still closed on weekends, it will be open again on Monday, Sept. 21.

As well, it will officially be open on Saturdays again starting Saturday, Sept. 26, with hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will bring it back up to being open six days a week.
