With regrets, UNIFOR Local 2301 says it has cancelled this year’s Labour Day Picnic for “unforeseen circumstances.”
A union spokesperson would not elaborate on the reasons.
The picnic at the Kitimat Rod and Gun Club, sheduled for Sept. 4 this year, is a popular annual event for the community and organisers are hopeful it will continue next year.
