St. Anthony’s School students not only come in regularly to walk and spend time with some of the Humane Society’s residents, but they also raise funds. Recently the students stopped in to walk dogs and to hand over a cheque for $205 to society manager Maryann Ouellet, money they raised from the sale of products they produced for the school’s entrepreneur fair held in May. The students had to produce, market and sell their products, ten per cent of the profits going to a local charity of their choice, which in this case was the Humane Society.
