Here are some good news stories from Kitimat readers this week:
“Coming back from Terrace [Wed., Jan. 13] we were behind a funeral procession back to Kitamaat Village. It restored a little bit of my faith in humanity to see not one person passed anyone. We all stayed in line, even though we might not have known that person. It may have taken us all of an extra ten minutes to get home. Well done… all is not lost. God rest the soul of the precious person who was going home for the last time today.”

— Andrea DeSousa said in a post on Facebook that a large fuel truck driver on the highway did a good job veering away from moose running toward his semi. Luckily, she said, he had the opposing lane to use.
