CDC is the tops

The Kitimat Child Development Centre recently received the highest possible award for CARF accreditation

The Kitimat Child Development Centre recently received the highest possible award for CARF accreditation - a three year term - in Community Services: Child and Youth Services, Community Integration, Community Services Co-ordination, Family Services and Supports for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Three external surveyors spent three days looking at the CDC’s services and found it met CARF standards in all areas.

They therefore made no recommendations.

“This is an extraordinary accomplishment as only three per cent of CARF surveys result in no recommendations,” CDC board president Jo Ann Hildebrandt pointed out.
