Cadets mark year-end with awards ceremony

The Kitimat Army Cadet Corps recognized and awarded exceptional achievements by its members at its year-end function.

The function, held at Kildala Elementary, was also used to bid farewell to Commanding Officer Chris Bishop and to welcome Lt (N) Graham Gueguen as the new commander for Kitimat cadets.

The cadets were inspected by Kitimat mayor Phil Germuth, Kitimat Legion president Marg Bogaert and sponsoring committee chairperson Majorie Phelps before the awards were handed out.

The cadets and their families were then treated to snacks and refreshments.
