Travelling medical students to land at St. Anthony's tomorrow

A travelling medical professional workshop will stop by St. Anthony's Elementary tomorrow to talk about careers in health care.

Traveling medical and health students on a tour of northern B.C. will stop by St. Anthony's Elementary school in Kitimat on June 12.

The group, which includes students from UNBC, College of New Caledonia, and UBC, are touring schools showing children the opportunities of getting into health training.

Its also a chance for the students themselves to see the opportunities that exist for picking northern communities as their career destination after school.

There will be a 20 minute presentation starting at 9 a.m. and students will enjoy other activities afterwards.

The Healthcare Traveling Roadshow has already stopped in a number of other communities.
