In Loving Memory of Sandra Rigoni
January 5, 1944 - January 20, 2010
Sandra overcame many adversities in her life with courage and strength. She lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefuly Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Kitimat General Hospital.
She was predeceased by her son Albert in 1990 and her husband Jack in 2008.
Sandra, along with her husband Jack will be remembered for their crusade towards improvement to the Kitimat Municpal Cemetery.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Maddalena (Ross) and grandson Jordan of Prince Rupert, BC; brothers Dino (Rosita), Nico (Anacleta), Cecilio (Isabella), Vincenzo (Gabriella); and sister Caterina (Giorgio) of Italy; and the extended Rigoni family.
A funeral service was held in Kitimat at Christ the King Church, January 30, 2010.
Sandra’s family would like to thank the home care nurses and Dr. Skully for the excellent care they gave to Sandra and the family. They would also like to thank all those who came and sat with Sandra while she was in the hospital. The support of these people helped to make a difficult time bearable. Thank you to the church choir and to all the family and friends who brought food, flowers, sent cards, gave hugs and immeasurable support. Your generosity will never be forgotten.
