Roderick Kenneth Bolton Jr.
January 7, 1940 to September 1, 2015
After a lengthy battle with cancer we are sad to announce that our Dad has gone to be with the Lord and our loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Louella, son Clayton (Barb), daughters Rose (Ed), Audrey (Kevin) and Rhoda, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his grandchildren Clayton Shaw and Amber Bolton, his parents Roderick Sr. and Clara, his brother Frank and sister Susan Keeling. Dad always mentioned how heartbroken he was after losing his grandchildren.
After retiring from Alcan in 1998 he had more time to fish, he loved sports (especially basketball) and attended Haisla Pentecostal Church.
Special thanks to Dr. West, Dr. Wahl and staff, Dr. Kay, Dr. Skully, Haisla Pentecostal Church, Haisla Cancer Support Group which he played a large part in, Quuloon Ventures, Haisla Nation Council and the Haisla Nation who stepped up.
Dad was a very humble man who loved his family, friends and community. He will be missed by all.
