Lloyd George Sherman Scott
January 11, 1933 to June 4, 2017
Lloyd passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
He lived a full life dedicated to family, friends, the community and several successful business ventures.
Lloyd and his wife Maureen (McGuigan) left the maritimes in the early 1950s and eventually settled in Kitimat, BC to raise a family.
He founded L.G. Scott & Sons Construction; in 1991 he sold his construction company and founded a new high tech, international company, Iotron Ind. centered in Coquitlam, BC with a branch in Indiana.
Lloyd was the patriarch of an ever growing family, always the focal point of his life. Gatherings filled with food, music, laughter, family and friends are where he was happiest. Lloyd was a very generous man who touched many lives, often quietly. We are all grateful.
He is predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Maureen. He is survived by his children, Michael (Michele), Cindy (Ken), Barb (John), Doug (Louise), Elaine (Tino), Valerie (Randy); grandchildren, Tobi, Sara, Rachel, Nicole, Craig, Catherine, Kirsten, Sean, Mark, Paul, Eric, Ron; and great grandchildren, Riley, Julie, Isla, and Leo. He is also survived by his sister, Mae Chapman of Moncton New Brunswick.
