Jose Gomes Silveira

Jose Gomes Silveira, originally of Kitimat, B.C., passed away peacefully at the Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Cambridge, Ontario on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the age of 86. He was born on April 10, 1927 on the island of Faial, Azores, Portugal. Predeceased by his first wife Maria de Lourdes. Husband of 19 years to Maria Adelaide Amaral, cherished father of Ilda Salamon (Paul) of Edmonton, Alberta, Frank and Edward (Ana), both from Kitimat. Devoted grandfather of Carly, Katherine, Kayla, Sheldon, Marlena and Nelson. Jose also has two great-grandchilden, Carson and Riley.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
