Jonah Kasey Sorenson
November 25, 2003 - March 13, 2009
Jonah Kasey Sorenson, age 5, native of Fairhope, Alabama, went to sleep and woke up in the arms of God.
Jonah, in his short life on earth, had many obstacles to conquer. He had a strong will to live and gave love and hope to all who knew him.
Jonah was a ‘Make A Wish’ Child, who, with his parents celebrated his 5th birthday at Disney World. Jonah’s organs were donated, and eight children benefited from his gift.
Jonah is survived by his parents Rebecca and Christian Sorenson of Fairhope, Alabama; grandparents Jean and Judge Al Johnson of Phoenix City, Alabama; and aunts and uncles in Alabama.
In Kitimat, grandparents Terry and Ed Gutknecht, John Sorenson Sr.; uncle and aunt John and Kerri Sorenson; and only cousins Kristian and Brendan Sorenson.
Jonah’s mother would sing a bedtime song to him, “You’ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins, which was played during the service.
We will always have Jonah Forever In Our Hearts
