In loving memory

David Lewis Burrows

Aug. 24, 1945 to Sept. 12, 2015

David Lewis Burrows, also known as Hagar, aged 70, of Kitimat, BC, passed away after a long and courageous fight.

Say not in grief ‘he was no more’ but live in thankfulness that he was.

Dave was born in British Columbia and was a long time and proud resident of Kitimat and employee of Eurocan. He leaves behind his wife, Sharon Burrows, and children James Robertson (spouse, Judy) and Kimberley Robertson, granddaughter Alexis Robertson, Goddaughter Megan Striker, as well as his brothers, James Burrows and Rick Burrows (spouse Claire) and many nieces and nephews, including Billy and Shana (spouse Charlie) and Kristen.

Dave is predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Daniel Burrows, and his faithful furry companion, Sammy.

A final goodbye with only laugher and no tears (in accordance with Dave’s wishes) will be held at the Anglican Church, Kitimat, BC at 11am on Monday, September 21, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency, whose research, along with Dave’s will to live, extended his life beyond expectations, giving many more years of memories for us to cherish.

The family would like to express their thanks to the caring staff of the Palliative Care department of the Kitimat General Hospital.
