Bruce Gasse
Sept. 22, 1950 - May 23, 2010
With much sorrow we announce the passing of Bruce Gasse on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home in Port Colborne, Ontario. Devoted son of Doris Gasse (Forbes) and the late Frank Gasse of Hamilton, Ontario.
Survived by his sister Sharon Burr and her husband Terry of Puslinch. Uncle to Michael and Niki Burr of Barrie and Jamie and Cassie Burr of Toronto. Great Uncle to Tegan and Hadley. He will be dearly missed by all.
Bruce was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, and moved to Kitimat, BC where he spent most of his adult life working as a millwright for Alcan. Bruce was an avid
outdoorsman, with a love for animals and his family. After retirement, Bruce became a certified financial planner and committed much of his time to scholarly study.
A memorial service and celebration of Bruce’s life was held at Clark’s Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27th 2010.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation or charity of your choice.
