Alexander Shepherd Blaikie
May 16, 1918 - January 27, 2010
The families of Alexander Blaikie announce his passing on January 27, 2010 at the age of 91 years.
Alexander is survived by his son Ian (Diana) Blaikie of Qualicum Beach, BC, daughter Margie (John) Hardy of Richmond, BC; grandchildren John Blaikie, David Blaikie, Steven Bell, Craig Bell, Macklyn Hardy, Michael Hardy; great-grandchildren Patrick and Alison Bell, Jacob, Carter and Joslyn Blaikie and Neko Hardy.
Alexander was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2003 and his daughter Joan Bell in 2001.
He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 921 Wembley Road, Parksville, BC.
